Forewind

The first wave buoy has been deployed on Dogger Bank this week to start measuring the sites wave height and direction and sea surface temperatures.

The buoy is located in the south-western corner of the zone in a water depth of 23m.

It will remain in position for two years.

The wave buoy was deployed from the vessel the MV Sea Profiler by Gardline Environmental.
