Preliminary meeting in Teesside
The Planning Inspectorate's preliminary meeting which starts the six-month examination phase for Dogger Bank Teesside A&B will be held next month (Tuesday, August 5) in Redcar.
The meeting at Redcar Leisure and Community Heart (Ridley Street, Redcar TS10 1TD) will focus on the procedures that will be involved in the examination of the application for the 2.4GW offshore wind energy project.
The outcomes from that meeting will be published on the National Infrastructure Planning Portal along with the proposed timetable for the examination – http://infrastructure.planningportal.gov.uk/projects/yorkshire-and-the- humber/dogger-bank-teesside-ab/
The timetable will include deadlines for when detailed written representations are due as well as deadlines for comments on others' relevant representations. It will also set out the dates for hearings to look at specific technical areas and details of open floor hearings for general issues and members of the public.
Consent manager Andy Guyton said that this is an open and reiterative process designed to ensure everyone who would like to be involved or have their say, has the opportunity to do so.
“I would also encourage anyone who is interested in the progress of the examination phase for Dogger Bank Teesside A&B should regularly check the National Infrastructure Planning Portal as well as the Forewind website to ensure they are up to date with the latest hearing times and relevant deadlines."
