ContactForewind produced a Statement of Community Consultation (SoCC) for the initial Dogger Bank Teesside proposal comprising four projects and their associated infrastructure. As the application will now be in two phases, a new SoCC specific to Dogger Bank Teesside C & D will be produced.
The SoCC explains how Forewind will consult with the local community including residents living within a specified distance of the project, the general public, community groups, local businesses, technical consultees and land owners, as well as others who work in or use the area, both offshore and onshore.
Consultation on Dogger Bank Teesside C & D will be carried out in two formal phases.
Phase One (May-June 2012)
This consultation phase covered both Dogger Bank Teesside A & B and Dogger Bank Teesside C & D under the umbrella of "Dogger Bank Teesside".
During this phase, Forewind clearly explained the site selection work done to date, including the process to narrow down the locations of the offshore wind farms, landfalls and converter stations. Stakeholders were invited to provide comments on the proposals while local people were specifically asked for information on issues to be considered when choosing the precise locations for onshore and offshore elements of the project.

The consultation period for these documents is now closed.
Phase Two (early 2015)
During this phase Forewind will ask the local community for comments on the detailed proposals for Dogger Bank Teesside C & D.

Teesside C and D Events
Phase One public consultation events were held in May 2012.
Public events on the proposals for Dogger Bank Teesside C & D will be held as part of the final consultation in early 2015.
